The bed was very comfortable, and the room was a cozy size. I loved the location right across the river from the blackhawk statue. It was just perfect for a peaceful retreat. Everything went well during my two nights there.

The internet connection felt unreliable!!! The towels could use replacing, one even had a hole in it!!! It seems like a simple communication system for cleaning requests would help a lot!!!

The lodge had a unique charm that I appreciated. The hosts were cute. I enjoyed a lovely garden view every morning, perfect for sipping coffee while soaking in the surroundings.

The lodge offered a clean atmosphere and well-maintained common areas, which I appreciated. My room had lovely views that allowed me to soak in the scenery each morning. The bed felt comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep. Internet access was a bit of an issue. I had it in the evening but struggled to connect in the morning when I needed it for checking the radar for my fishing trip. It felt frustrating not being able to check emails or my social media when I'd hoped to. The vintage decor added unique charm. I found the host cute and enjoyed my time despite the modern conveniences lacking. More consistent internet access would greatly improve the experience.

I really enjoyed my time here. the unique decor and comfy bed made my nights relaxing. There were lovely spots to unwind, like the cozy garden seating and a peaceful patio for morning coffee. A small downside was that the linens could have been fresher, but it didn't take away from my experience. 😊

The room was clean and well-kept (the bathroom sparkled!). The motel's older charm was pleasant, with beautiful views from our Queen Room across the river from the Blackhawk statue. Very close to restaurants, and the Blackhawk Steak Pit across the street was excellent.

Charming room, convenient amenities, including a tv and air conditioning, made my solo travel experience good, especially with the hotel located near the airport, nice for easy exploration of local attractions.

But, darling, the internet connection was as reliable as a chocolate teapot-timed out on me when I desperately needed it! And that shower? Let's just say it was a bit more rustic than I prefer.
